Meet some of our friends Our journey into rescuing has been rewarding and heart breaking. In a perfect world we would save every dog and find the perfect family for each of them. But the harsh reality is not all dogs find the perfect home. As an all breed rescue we strive to match unwanted dogs with forever homes. It's important and responsible to individually evaluate each dog that comes to us. We learn their faults, their temperaments and discuss with their previous owners where they would be best placed. Willow's Haven Willow for whom the ranch is named, came to us directly from the meat wagon. Already loaded she was underweight and scruffy. She had also been bred and abandoned by a pony breeder. She came to us scared and broken. Good food, gentle handling and lots of TLC has brought Willow out of her shell and returned her firey spirit. |

Steffi was scheduled for the "big house' but fate had other plans. She is the queen of our pack, surogate mother and protector. Titled in CDX and a certified man-stopper, she is gentle as a lamb with the pups but serious about protecting her home. Steffi has found her forever home here at the ranch. |
